    Job Description: We are seeking a talented, proactive, results driven Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence, expanding our network of industry partners, fostering community relationships, and executing engaging local events. The ideal candidate will have strong background in local marketing and business development. They will also have experience in outside event coordination, marketing savvy, and relationship-building skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage local networking events such as golf tournaments, home shows, and partner events to enhance brand visibility and generate sales leads.
    • Create compelling social media content and implement effective brand campaigns to engage with our audience and drive sales.
    • Proactively seek out new trade partners including home builders, interior designers, and property managers to expand our distribution network and create mutually beneficial relationships.
    • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and functions.
    • Attend various association and affiliate meetings to network, build relationships, and stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities.
    • Build local brand recognition through print advertising, digital marketing, and other promotional channels.
    • Coordinate regular product rollouts and trainings for trade partners to ensure they are knowledgeable about our offerings and equipped to promote them effectively.
    • Work closely with vendors to position and market various products, collaborating on marketing strategies and initiatives.
    • Create targeted, local advertising campaigns to reach specific demographics and maximize impact.
    • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen brand recognition and loyalty within the local community.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales, preferably within the window covering industry.
    • Proven track record of success in driving brand awareness, expanding distribution channels, and increasing sales.
    • Proven experience in event coordination, marketing, or related roles.
    • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to forge partnerships and collaborate effectively.
    • Expertise in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and forge partnerships.
    • Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive brand recognition and engagement.
    • Experience in trade partnership development is a plus.
