Position Overview:
As the SBU Head / Chief AI Officer, you will be the visionary leader tasked with defining and spearheading the strategic direction, objectives, and overarching success of our AI initiatives.
In this role, you will ensure that all AI strategies and implementations align with our corporate goals and contribute to our mission of revolutionizing industries, economies, and daily life through the power of artificial intelligence.
You will be instrumental in driving the development of India-specific AI models and solutions that address national priorities, positioning us as a beacon of AI innovation both domestically and on the global stage.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic AI Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with our vision of being a global leader in AI innovation, setting clear objectives for the AI Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and ensuring the delivery of high-impact AI projects across various sectors such as healthcare, education, and smart infrastructure
Financial and Operational Oversight:
Take full responsibility for the P&L of the AI SBU, managing budgets and resources to maximize financial success and ROI.
Talent and Leadership Development:
Lead, inspire, and grow a diverse team of AI professionals.
Identify, recruit, and develop key leadership team members within the AI SBU, fostering a culture of technological innovation and excellence.
Collaborate with global leaders in AI and technology to cultivate a robust talent pool.Business Integration and Value Creation:
Deeply understand the various business entities and strategically integrate AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement. Identify opportunities where AI can drive significant value, promoting innovation across the organization.
Strategic Partnerships and Industry Representation:

Qualifications:
Advanced Technical Education:
PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, showcasing deep technical expertise in AI, machine learning, and distributed systems
Extensive Leadership Experience:
At least 8 years in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of building innovative AI products from scratch and leading high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced, startup environment
Specialized Knowledge in AI Technologies:
Core AI Concepts:
Strong understanding of federated learning, privacy-preserving techniques, decentralized architectures, and their applications in creating responsible AI solutions
Hardware Expertise:
Knowledgeable about the latest AI hardware infrastructure including high-performance computing systems, GPUs, and TPUs
Software Proficiency:
Proficient in major AI and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras, LLMs with the ability to design and implement scalable AI software solutions
Industry Thought Leadership:
Recognized thought leader in the AI industry, actively contributing insights and influencing AI standards at major forums and publications
