- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Manage prepaid expenses and accrued expenses accounts, ensuring accurate recognition and recording of expenses.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
- Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
- Conduct inventory subledger to G/L reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
- Coordinate intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and eliminate discrepancies between intercompany accounts.
- Manage fixed assets records, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting and financial analysis initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a wholesale distribution or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of various accounting functions including bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), subledger to general ledger (G/L) reconciliations, inventory subledger to G/L reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, fixed assets management, and financial reporting.
