    We're seeking an experienced Service and Repair Electrician to join our team at Brda Electric.

    This key role involves handling multiple service and repair jobs for various customers, with a focus on supervising and training apprentices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting.
    • Troubleshoot and repair apartment power outages.
    • Service commercial facilities, meter packs, disconnects, fuses, panels, circuit breakers, voltage up to 480v, single phase & 3 phase, grounded B phase, transformers, motors, fans, standby generators, and control wiring.
    • Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete projects.
    • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
    • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
    • Work in compliance with the National Electrical Code, state, and local building regulations.
    • Maintain accurate digital records and pictures of work performed and materials used.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
    • Supervise and share knowledge with apprentices.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma/GED required.
    • Technical or trade school electrical program completion preferred.
    • 8 or more years of experience in the electrical trade.
    • Above-average comfort level with technology.
    • Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
    • Broad knowledge of NEC and the electrical industry.
    • Ability to properly use a volt meter, amps, ohms, and wire tracers.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and coworkers.
    • Valid driver's license and residence in the Greater St. Louis area required.
