    Description
    As a Patient Service Representative, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients


    Essential Job Functions:

    Patient Interaction:
    Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth. Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone. Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.

    Helping to create a positive work environment and culture of the clinic ensuring that patients needs are taking care of during transitional periods of therapy.

    Help provide customer service, a smile.


    Administrative Support:
    Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.

    Assist in keeping front office area neat, tidy and organized Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

    Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurring including but not limited to:
    answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc


    Communication and Coordination:
    Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility. Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.


    Physical Therapy Aide duties:
    Observing and developing knowledge covering therapeutic assessments and treatments for a wide-ranging sports/orthopedic pathologies.
    Learning intricacies of marketing strategies and business management within a healthcare setting.

    Supports physical therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials, and performs procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapy assistant.

    Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
    Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, providing and/or assisting patient into physical therapy apparel or apertures.
    Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests and allaying fears.

    Helps treat patients by applying heat packs and ice packs, assisting patients into the gym, helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion, tracking walking time and distance, measuring mobility, and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.

    Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
    Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
    Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    Provides equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to treatment area, positioning equipment for therapist access, and positioning patient on equipment.


    Miscellaneous Operations:
    Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
    Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.


    Cleaning and Maintenance:
    Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.

    Dailyequipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies Physical Requirements:

    Sitting:
    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer and paperwork


    Manual Dexterity:
    Ability to use a computer keyboard and perform tasks requiring dexterity


    Vision:
    Clear vision for reading and analyzing documents


    Communication:
    Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing


    Mobility:
    Occasional movement within the office environment


    Qualifications:
    High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus. Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred. Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
