Job Description:
Duties:

Perform echocardiograms (ultrasound imaging of the heart) on patients to assess cardiac function and diagnose heart conditions.

Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.

Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain clear images of the heart's chambers, valves, and blood vessels.

Analyze images to identify abnormalities or diseases, such as valve defects, heart murmurs, or cardiomyopathy.

Collaborate with cardiologists and physicians to interpret test results and develop treatment plans.

Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures, findings, and patient information.

Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Follow established protocols and safety measures to minimize risks to patients and staff during procedures.

Note:

Must have at least 1 year experience and willing to work 1 shift per week, including weekends.

BLS and Sonographer Certificate will be required.

Assignment will be for up to 2 years.

Certification: Basic Life Support , Sonographer
