We're looking for a forward-thinking experienced and strategic Sr. Director, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team. The Sr.

Director, CISO will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive information security program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing security strategies in a software or technology environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information owned, controlled, or processed by the organization.

Collaborate with the executive team to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization and ensure that the information security program is in alignment with those risk levels.

Lead the company-wide information security function to ensure consistent and high-quality information security management in support of business goals.

Oversee the daily operation of the security program including oversight of policies, procedures, and controls to assure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as good business practices.

Ensure that security operations are conducted in accordance with all applicable regulations and laws to protect Kaleris from legal risks.

Establish and implement an incident reporting and response system to address security breaches, respond to incidents, and minimize the impact of security incidents.

Coordinate the development and delivery of an inclusive education and training program on information security and privacy matters for employees, contractors, partners, and other stakeholders.

Oversee security audits and vulnerability and threat assessments, and direct responses to network or system intrusions.

Develop, maintain, and disseminate current security policies, standards, and guidelines, and oversee training programs designed to educate employees about computer security and data protection.

Develop and oversee the budget for the information security function, ensuring that it is consistent with the organization's strategic objectives and resource constraints.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Professional security management certification, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other similar credentials.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in risk management, information security, and IT jobs, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.

Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST.

Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management including managed services.

Experience with Cloud Computing security and strategies.

Strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies, and policies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to business leaders and convey business concepts to the IT workforce.
