    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.

    Opportunity:

    RN - Med Surg Tele

    Job Details:


    • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

    • 36 hours per week guaranteed for 13-week assignment

    • Weekend, holiday, and call requirements

    • Float between multiple units: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt, PCU, and acute inpatient rehab (ortho/neuro)

    • Patient ratio of 1:5-6

    • PCU experience highly preferred

    • Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment (first-time travelers not considered)

    • Current New York nursing license required

    • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

    • Meditech experience required

    • Must be graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

    • Care for patients with common diagnoses including septic conditions, COPD, CHF, post-operative patients, general medical surgical cases, post-op plastics, and ALC patients

    • Administer required drips and medications including heparin drips, magnesium and potassium riders

    • May be required to assume charge nurse duties

    • Must demonstrate strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate

    • Ability to function well in stressful situations with creative problem-solving skills

    • Must assess and implement safe patient lifting and moving techniques

    • Provide comprehensive patient care including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs assessment
