Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Manager/Project Lead to join our dynamic team and lead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, product quality, safety, and profitability in our alloy steel business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage strategic engineering projects aimed at increasing plant productivity, improving product quality, and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Conduct technical, economic, and risk assessments of ideas and projects to define project objectives and resource requirements.
Supervise internal engineering teams and collaborate with external engineering firms to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Establish and maintain standards of quality and safety to ensure project effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Mentor and develop junior engineers to build a high-performing engineering team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and procurement teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and assist in developing reliability tactics and continuous improvement projects.
Lead initiatives to update standards and procedures related to electrical safety, maintenance, and design.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Masters Degree in Business with 5 years of experience in project management/equipment design.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
