The PCP role involves providing direct patient care, assessments, and treatments primarily in outpatient healthcare settings. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, diagnosing and treating patients, developing care plans, offering health education, making specialty referrals, and ensuring clear documentation in alignment with quality standards.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with guidelines, active participation in risk management programs, and maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
