- Motivate, lead, and develop employees to achieve organizational goals.
- Maintain existing and develop new relationships with key account decision-makers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities (contractors, developers, infrastructure projects).
- Lead negotiations for major contracts and tenders.
- Participate in weekly management meetings.
- Support large-scale project planning and forecasting.
- Manage the full product portfolio (standard and specialty concrete mixes).
- Optimize product pricing strategy to balance competitiveness and profitability.
- Develop and maintain twelve (12) month projections.
- Provide daily field representation and assist production control with order accuracy and delivery efficiency.
- Attend relevant contractor organization functions and industry meetings.
- Maintain active relationships within industry quality and specification committees.
- Lead research and development of new concrete mixes and products.
- Review and evaluate all current mix designs at least annually.
- Analyze and evaluate customer quality complaints.
- Analyze current market share within residential and commercial concrete segments.
- Maintain established goals for yardage and sales metrics.
- Work closely with sales, customers, engineers, and operations to supply performance concrete in accordance with ACI, ASTM, and applicable state DOT specifications.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum seven (7) years of management experience.
- Minimum seven (7) years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of ACI, ASTM, and applicable state DOT specifications.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office.
