Description
A large mechanical contracting company is looking to add plumber helpers to their team Candidates ideally need to have experience in new commercial construction, specifically working with copper pipe. Need is currently on a project in Morristown that will run until September.
*Description:
+ Assisting plumbers with installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems+ Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters+ Carry tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work areas+ Prepare job sites by setting up necessary tools and materials+ Dig trenches, excavate ditches, and create access points as required for plumbing installations or repairs+ Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and techniques+ Assist in the assembly and installation of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters+ Connect pipes using fittings, soldering, welding, or other approved methods+ Inspect plumbing systems and identify any defects or issues+ Assist in troubleshooting plumbing problems and propose appropriate solutions+ Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materialsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Experience with copper pipe.+ Experience with Propress is a plus.
