Description
We are actively seeking either apart time or full time Psychiatrist.The Psychiatrist will provideclinical leadership and consultation to staff, as well as direct care servicesto clients within the Substance Abuse Expansion Project, consistent with theclinical responsibilities approved by the Board of Directors and assigned percompletion of the organization's Privileging/Re-Privileging Process.
Inaddition, the Psychiatrist will provide clinical consultation to staff,colleagues, hospital liaisons, primary care physicians, and other mental healthproviders to facilitate appropriate treatment and timely discharge of clientsfrom psychiatric/substance abuse inpatient treatment programs, and/or otherfacilities into Center services, or to facilitate timely transition of clientsback to their community providers.
Integrate mental health and addiction services for assignedcaseload by participation in program service development, staff education,training, etc.Act as liaison with other agencies, and coordinate care with otherhealth care practitioners, particularly primary care physicians, to ensure thehighest quality of care for clients in accordance with our expectations andprofessional standards.
Meet annual target hours for clinical services. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.$
