Custom home builder looking for purchasing and project management experience.

We are seeking a Construction Project/Purchasing Assistant to join our team You will help project planning, budgeting, purchasing, and client option choices.

Responsibilities:

• Allocate resources for assigned projects through project purchasing
• Supervise personnel and subcontractors to make sure proper materials are installed
• Interface with sub-contractors, architects, engineers, and clients as needed
• Negotiate with sub-contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Help oversee aspects of home owner selections from planning to implementation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software; software experience a plus
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Company Description

We are a local Northern CA builder in contract with multiple custom home builds, small in-fill sub-divisions, as well as commercial projects.
