    Clinical Adjunctive Therapy Program Manager

    About the Job:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Adjunctive Therapy Program Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of therapeutic recreation and behavioral health principles.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, organize, and implement clinical adjunctive therapy programs for inmates in residential treatment units
    • Direct and monitor all aspects of psychiatric patient day-to-day activities
    • Promote self-care and physical and mental well-being among inmates
    • Provide direction and assistance in the care, treatment, and programming of inmates
    • Carry out inmate or group treatment plans as delineated by the multidisciplinary treatment team
    • Monitor and instruct treatment plan programs to inmates in directing personal hygiene and grooming
    • Provide clinical lead work/work direction to lower-level activity therapy specialists
    • Escorts psychiatric inmates to and from off-unit activities

    Qualifications:

    • Associate degree in recreation or specialty area (e.g., music, art, drama, dance); 24 months experience in activity therapy
    • Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation; completion of 1000 hour clinical practicum and certification by national council on therapeutic recreation certification; 24 months experience in activity therapy
    • Bachelor's degree in music therapy from an accredited institution approved by American Music Therapy Association; completion of 6 months, 1040 hour music therapy internship at an approved AMTA site and board certification by certification board for music therapists; 24 months experience in activity therapy
