- 1.0 Fulltime
- Will provide acute general surgery coverage and take trauma call at a busy Level I facility
- Advocate Condell Medical Center, located in Chicago's northern suburbs, is a 257bed acute care hospital offering around the clock care, and is the only Level I hospital in Lake County
- This is a robust trauma and acute surgery practice with a diverse group of experienced partners; opportunity to perform some elective cases if desired
- As a busy Level I center, trauma/emergent surgical calls include blunt and penetrating trauma, head injuries, hernias, bowels, etc.
- Full complement of subspecialists as well as intensivists are available to support your patients
- Trauma call will be 1:4 with 1 day per week, and every 4th weekend, Friday PM to Sunday AM
- General surgery call is shared and will be approximately 1:
- Dedicated staff includes RN, MA and 3 APCs in the hospital
- EPIC EMR

- Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program
- Trauma/acute fellowship desired, however not required
