    Your Role:

    Tenable is seeking a skilled QA/QC Test Automation Engineer proficient in ACCELQ to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and automated testing, with the ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive test cases. As a QA/QC Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our software products through automated testing processes.

    Your Opportunity:
    • Develop and implement automated test scripts using ACCELQ to ensure the quality and stability of software applications at both the UI and API level.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
    • Conduct comprehensive testing of software products to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues.
    • Work closely with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing phases.
    • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Generate detailed test reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and automation testing.
    What You'll Need:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience working as a QA/QC Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in ACCELQ and hands-on experience writing test scenarios and actions within the application.
    • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
    • Able to work in a hybrid/on-site capacity at our headquarters in Columbia MD

    The base salary range for this position is $100, $133,333.33 USD. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
