    Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Baltimore, MD. As an SLPA, you will work collaboratively with our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in achieving their communication and language goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Assessment and Evaluation:
      • Conduct speech and language screenings under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
      • Assist in the collection of relevant data for the development of individualized treatment plans.
    • Direct Therapy:
      • Implement speech and language interventions as outlined in treatment plans.
      • Provide individual or group therapy sessions to students, focusing on improving communication skills.
    • Collaboration:
      • Work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
      • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and home-based activities.
    • Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, including session notes and data collection.
      • Assist in preparing reports for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other necessary documentation.
    • Professional Development:
      • Stay informed about current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
      • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
    • Maryland State Certification
