- Role model appropriate healthy and ethical behaviors in all interactions, including HIPAA and Confidentiality standards.
- Monitor all residents on an hourly basis, ensuring their safety. If working on a night shift, a Night Rounds Checklist should be completed, also on an hourly basis. This form will indicate the current physical status (whereabouts) of the resident.
- If working a morning shift, ensure residents are woken up at the appropriate time.
- Administer resident drug tests when directed.
- Provide case management services as needed, including documentation.
- Facilitate full utilization of service units, including case management documentation, as directed by the supervisor.
- Document the services provided according to standards set by the Agency and applicable County, State, and Federal regulations. Documentation should be clear, concise, and completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with resident's benefits (e.g. DPSS, SSI, Medi-Cal) application(s).
- Monitor resident medications, as applicable, including documentation.
- If directed, inventory new resident property upon admission.
- If directed, upload appropriate documentation into resident's electronic health record.
- Familiarity and adherence to all regulatory expectations and ethical standards and Agency policies and procedures, including the Agency's Core Beliefs.
- Maintain constructive relationships with family members, community members and organizations, human services agencies, and other professionals.
- Assist in ensuring a safe and alcohol/drug-free environment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
