Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Roving Patrol in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.

Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite management and/or local responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, lobbies, corridors, amenities, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with crowd and/or queue management during peak occupancy and special events.

Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site contacts per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
