- Stage and load outgoing materials based on pre-determined routes and shipping invoices.
- Manage outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Determine space requirements and positions materials based on shipment routing using a first on, last off approach.
- Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
- Consider routes and legal road limits of trucks, according to established schedules and DOT weight limits. Secure loads and seals truck doors.
- Unload returned merchandise and place in pre-designated area.
- Report incomplete or unfulfilled orders to ensure accurate customer billing.
- Communicate effectively within the organization to seek feedback to improve day-to-day operations.
- Inspect material handling equipment. Report equipment or vehicle maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid state-issued driver's license required
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Familiarity with relevant inventory and manufacturing terminology
- Familiarity with door components and assembly techniques
- Familiarity with finishing products and techniques
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places
- The noise level is usually moderate
- Requires safety equipment such as protective eyewear, earplugs and safety shoes etc.
- Full-time
- 8-hour shift, 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
- Some overtime required
- Monday to Friday

Position Overview
