    Assistant Project Manager

    Reports To

    Project Manager

    Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 PM

    Dress Code: Business Casual

    Job Overview

    The Assistant Project Manager's primary responsibility is to support the Project Manager in the successful completion of assigned projects. The Assistant Project Manager participates in managing project financials, risk management, and client relations. This position reports to the Project Manager.

    Responsibilities and Duties: (not an all-inclusive list)

    • Assist in managing the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.
    • Manage project files and flow of information for assigned projects.
    • Participate in developing and maintaining project schedules.
    • Assist PM with project financials and cost procedures.
    • Receive efficient information from customers.
    • Create and follow up with customers on Bid Proposals sent.
    • Any other projects as assigned by the Manager(s)
    • Must be able to meet deadlines.

    Qualifications

    • Basic understanding and knowledge of the construction industry, contract management, planning, budgets, building products.
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
    • Decision Making
    • Communication and collaboration
    • Organizational skills
    • Proof all work for accuracy.
    • Be able to prioritize projects.
    • Be and stay focused.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Initiative-taker and able to work independently.
    • Must be able to sit for several hours at a time.
    • Finger dexterity (most of the day is spent using computer & keyboard)
