    Exciting Opportunity: OSP Engineer (Planning) - 6-Month Contract-to-hire (Nationwide)

    We're looking for a driven OSP Planning Engineer to join our client's team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of planning and developing our client's Outside Plant network. Your interactions with partners, ISPs, and executives will be crucial in ensuring smooth communication and project coherence.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and enhance Outside Plant network plans, taking into account factors like cost-efficiency, scalability, and future expansion.
    • Demonstrate a profound understanding of network planning architecture and the OSP networks' construction process.
    • Engage with clients, partners, and ISPs to review network plans, address issues, and align on project objectives.
    • Simplify complex technical details for executives in a comprehensive manner.
    • Participate in on-site visits and compile technical reports.
    • Oversee project schedules and meet set deadlines.
    • Be prepared to travel up to 70% of the time to client locations and partner meetings.

    Qualifications:

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
    • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in OSP network planning and design.
    • Demonstrate expertise in Outside Plant construction techniques and materials.
    • Possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Capable of presenting technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Experience with 3GIS or ArcGIS and telecommunication design software is advantageous.
    • Comfortable with regular travel.
