    Title: Network Engineer

    Location: Dallas ; Fully onsite

    Terms: Open ended contract (1+ yr, open to conversion)

    Structure: W2 only (Will not provide sponsorship)

    Compensation: 55-60/hr

    We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining network infrastructures across multiple sites, with a focus on switch configuration, OSPF routing, and proficiency in Cisco ACI. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of our network systems to ensure seamless connectivity and reliability across our distributed environment.

    Qualifications:

    2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles, preferably in a multi-site environment.

    Proficiency in configuring and managing network switches, routers, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco.

    Strong understanding of OSPF routing protocols and experience with dynamic routing configurations.

    Demonstrated expertise in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and software-defined networking (SDN) principles.

    Familiarity with network security best practices and technologies, including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network access control (NAC).

    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.

    Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification.

    Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python.

    Knowledge of cloud networking principles and experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

    Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.
