- Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to set achievable goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to improve patients' communication, speech and social language skills.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, treatments, and outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to patients' family members, caregivers, and other support groups in maximizing patients' abilities.
- Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in occupational therapy and incorporate them into the treatment plans.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure a safe and hygienic treatment environment.
- Passionate about implementation of activities of daily living
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to prioritize workload, complete required documentation, manage time efficiently, and work independently.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to work with patients of varying physical abilities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and digital therapeutic tools is a plus.
- Collaboration and open communication are highly valued
- Licensed in the state of Idaho or ability to obtain immediate licensure
- Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a healthcare or Pediatric setting.
