Pharmacist in Charge, Specialty Pharmacy Operations - Grapevine

Job summary
The Pharmacist in Charge oversees the overall safety and security of the facility, maintains accountability for general supervision of pharmacy staff, provides direct supervision of dispensing and preparing medicines, ensures compliance with FDA mandates and self-imposed manufacturer restrictions on particular drugs as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Oversees Refill Management Team on process activities including responses call trends appropriate staffing for call volume needs based upon client needs
- Manages Central Prior Authorization Team provides guidance to team members procedures productivity scheduling to ensure goals met completing PAs pharma drugs participating pharmacies
- Works Regional Directors Trade Relations Compliance FPA team creating business strategy support field teams create synergies as appropriate
- Completes clinical assessments patient care maintains required documentation follow-up
- Maintains Class G Clinical Pharmacists providing guidance procedures productivity meet Shared Services goals clinical interventions
