    Summary of Position:

    The Technical Support specialist plays an important role within our growing organization. In this role you will have the opportunity to support Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS environments. Re-engineer processes, work with the latest technology, and gain exposure to key stakeholders and department leaders.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Support all employees across the globe with technical issues
    • Microsoft 365 Administration
    • Use Microsoft CoPilot
    • Deploy desktops/laptops and peripheral components
    • Train and guide staff on hardware and software usage
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
    • Set up and manage user accounts and permissions to company resources including Active Directory, SharePoint, Knowbe4, Keeper Security, Microsoft Teams, and other enterprise applications.
    • Perform basic network troubleshooting.
    • Be part of the IT security team and actively participate in incident response and risk management.
    • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
    • Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating systems and application software being used to provide a high-level of support to users.
    • Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues with phones, hardware, or software.
    • Participate in project planning process.
    • Conduct IT on-boarding and off-boarding activities for new or separated employees
    • Proactively review and recommend process improvements throughout all areas of the organization. Recommend and lead/assist in process re-engineering efforts where necessary.
    • Interact, build relationships, and gain understanding of the perspective of staff from front lines to C-Suite.
    • Purchasing and shipping hardware from approved vendors.
    • Other duties as assigned

    PROJECTS:

    • Participate in a variety of security related projects both technical and non-technical.
    • Manage Microsoft Intune and deploy new Windows 11 computers with autopilot.
    • Optimize Windows Defender Configurations.
    • Enhance our training program.
    • Assist in establishing a secure document management system.
    • Exposure to various NetSuite & Acumatica ERP/CRM projects.
    • Manage Knowbe4
    • Manage Keeper Security
    • Perform internal AD audits

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    • Extensive experience working with Office 365 and Azure AD, 3+ years.
    • Extensive experience troubleshooting desktop and end user issues, 3 + years.
    • Extensive experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange, 3+ years.
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Security tools and incident response.
    • Strong experience with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
    • Strong experience imaging workstations and deploying updates through Intune.
    • Strong experience tracking tickets within a helpdesk system.
    • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
    • Basic experience with certificate management and hosted web servers.
    • Basic experience administrating firewalls, routers, and VPN software.
    • Basic experience administrating VOIP systems.
    • AWS, Azure, and GCP experience is a plus.

    Working Conditions/Physical Requirements of the Job:

    Work is generally performed in a typical office environment, with limited exposure to harsh weather conditions, loud internal or external noise, fumes, or significant temperature changes. Minimal, occasional travel may be required.
