    Hospice & Volunteer Program Lead to join our team

    Under the leadership of the Manager of Hospice, the Hospice & Volunteer Program Lead is accountable for the organization and implementation of Volunteer Service activities for all Aspirus Hospice programs.

    The Program Lead must portray a positive image of Aspirus displaying excellent public relations abilities and maintaining self-control under stressful situations.

    This professional will collaborate with volunteers, department and system staff, community leaders and other professionals in the execution of these responsibilities.

    This position is also responsible for the coordination of volunteer-related promotions, graphic design, and special projects. Must possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


    HOURS:
    Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, manager call rotation.
    Experience/Qualifications

    Knowledge of business practices such as volunteerism, personnel administration, program development and leadership normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Business Administration.

    A minimum of 3 years' experience preferred with a healthcare organization.
    General knowledge of volunteer program
    Knowledge of computer network and variety of software programs (volunteer tracking system, Epic, Microsoft office – Excel, Word, Publisher)
    Must possess skills to work well in a team environment.
    Demonstrates ability to write professionally, work independently, and communicate with individuals and groups.
    Demonstrates application of teaching/learning principles

    Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of various age groups in terms of their physical, motor, psychosocial and intellectual/language development as it applies to the volunteer employees care and services.

    Listens effectively, shares ideas and information openly, and facilitates relationship building.
    Possesses initiative, good judgement, and the ability to problem solve.
    Is able to effectively multi-task several projects while meeting established deadlines.
    Possesses ability to work as a team when organizing and completing projects.
    Annualcompetencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
