    Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)

    Provides oversight of projects to include consistent communication, record keeping and reporting, responsibilities include managing a major design-build power plant expansion project by working with internal and teams such as development, engineering, legal, environmental, supply chain and operations; develops overall project scope book used to bid the EPC portions of the project, other major equipment bid packages to support the bidding process and project schedule; manages cross functional project team in both an office and site environment, to include all engineering and construction activities. Responsibilities also including monitoring and tracking progress of the project and staff, both internal and external resources and takes required action if activities fall behind schedule. Ensures that the project is being constructed in compliance with design standards, applicable codes and established for the project as well as ensuring that comprehensive safety standards are implemented and enforced.

  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in ME, EE, CE or Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires minimum 10 years' experience, including extensive knowledge of heavy industrial construction techniques and a minimum of 5 years working as a project manager on power plant projects.
