    Job Summary

    Join our dynamic transportation team as a Driver for Owner Operator, where your expertise in commercial driving will propel your career forward. We treat our drivers like family we offer bonus pays on slower weeks to maintain the weekly average pay consistent. We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Intermodal Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The Intermodal Driver is responsible for transporting shipping containers between rail yards, ports, and customer facilities using a combination of truck and rail transportation. This position requires strict adherence to safety, DOT regulations, and company policies while ensuring on-time, efficient delivery of freight. We specialize in export so we pick up empties from the port and drop loads which means less port time.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate loads up to 85k lbs
    • Ability to navigate the NJ/NY Ports
    • Ensure the safe arrival and departure of loads through safety and proper scheduling
    • Ability to drive manual transmission

    Requirements

    • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) class A
    • Port Experience required
    • Two years verifiable intermodal/port experience
    • Must be able to operate manual transmission trucks; experience with automatic transmissions is a plus.
    • Ability to start early 3am-5am
    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling practices

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $1, $1,700.00 per week
