Your role at BHSN:

As a Registered Nurse you will provide health screening, coordination of health referrals, and work in close collaboration with prescribers and staff. There are both full-time and part-time positions available.

What your day might look like:

Participates in the development, writing and execution of the treatment plan
Provides crisis intervention services as needed, including offsite in the community
Conducts evaluations and identifies critical impairments that become the focus of treatment form effective planning and implementation of treatment
Develops clear treatment strategies based on specific needs of each consumer and composed as a formal treatment plan and percentage plan to the treatment team and consumer
Documents all services in accordance with Federal/State regulations and BHSN policies and procedures
Additional duties as assigned

Your skills and qualifications:

NYS Department of Education Registered Professional Nurse
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience providing direct clinical service to the population served by the assigned clinical program is strongly preferred.
Broad clinical knowledge of psychiatric disorders, and psychiatric diagnosis
Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation required for local and regional travel
