    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

    At RPh on the Go, we specialize in providing pharmacy professionals for a variety of settings and needs. Our commitment is to match qualified candidates with rewarding positions in the healthcare field. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to serve in a long-term care facility located in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania.

    Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and the skills necessary to provide exceptional service to patients requiring long-term care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications.
    • Fill and label prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
    • Manage medication inventory and storage to ensure that medications are safely and securely stored.
    • Process medication orders and maintain accurate patient records.
    • Provide high-quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
    • Comply with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
    • Assist with pharmacy billing and insurance claims.

    Shift:

    • 8 hour varied shifts, rotating between pharmacy operating hours:
    • Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 10:30pm
    • Saturday:8:00am - 6:00pm; Sunday: 9:00am - 5:00pm.
    • Weekend rotation is every 3rd or 4th weekend.

    Qualifications:

    • LTC experience preferred.
    • Pharmacy technician experience.
