    Material Planner

    Reports to: Logistic Controlling Manager

    Tasks (90% desk work, 10% on floor)

    Job overview

    The Material Planner is responsible for supplier delivery performance, handling direct material from an ordering standpoint to receiving and invoice verification. Performs cycle counts of rawmaterial and expendable packaging. Material Planner also supports for indirect material ordering.

    Responsibilities


    • Ordering, receiving, booking and verification of direct and indirect materials to ensure production continuity without special freight
    • Check order confirmation and coordinate deviations with suppliers and production
    • Initiate inventory management an d stock adjustments when required maintain continued accuracy and reliability of stock records
    • Identify risks, develop alternative solutions and asses impact on product delivery to ensure material availability
    • Adapt material in master data for buffers, lead times and safety stocks
    • Suggest and coordinate process optimization under logistics aspects
    • Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets, support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement from a logistics aspect

    Job Requirements

    Required Qualifications/ Skills


    • Bachelor degree or similiar education or equivalent professional experience
    • Previous material planner experience

    Job requirements


    • Intermediate MS Office Skills, SAP knowledge preferred
    • Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to take decisions and set right priorities and able to work under pressure
    • Logial and hands on problem solving skills
    • Self-awareness and a collaborative approach to working with others

    Physical requirements


    • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
    • Occasional walking, standing, handling and using fingers
    • Requires sitting for long periods of time
    • Moderate bending, kneeling, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders
    • Occasional climbing, crawling, squatting and working from height
