A facility is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located 2 hours outside of Chicago, Illinois.
The clinician will be responsible for rounds/consults on approximately 10 patients per day. Those can be completed in the morning or throughout the day between patients. Procedures are required - there will be approximately 15 scheduled procedures per day, including ERCP. The clinician can be board-certified or Truly board-eligible. An active IL license is required to apply. Temporary privileges can be granted within 48-72 hours.
Dates Needed: Monday - Thursday of every week, ongoing
Call Ratio/Schedule: Monday - Thursday evenings
Case Load/PPD: Approx. 10 consults per day - 15 procedures per day
Shift Type: 24-Hour Shift
Assignment Type: Inpatient
Assignment Duration: Locums
Call Required: Yes
Board Certification Required: Negotiable
Patient Population: Adults
Support Staff: nurses on floor, Hospitalists, full support staff in endo suite
