- Functionin a field mechanical engineer capacity at the Columbia Generating Station (CGS) located north of Richland, Washington.
- Act as primary in-person contact / liaison for Black & Veatch at the plant and communicate with the home office engineering team to identify and resolve all engineering related issues in a timely manner.
- Takenecessary actions to maintain project schedule targets and developa stable working relationship with a client personnel including project management, design engineering, system engineering, and administration.
- Supportcontinuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.
- Attenddaily plant status meetings within their assigned department.
- Maintainaccess authorization standards and plant requirements for unescorted access to the plant
- This professional should also have 3-5 years of previous experience as a field engineer and/or engineering design experience on Nuclear Power Plants
- Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline
- Standing, Kneeling, Bending, Stooping, and Walking long distances in and around confined, cluttered places, and uneven areas.
- The ability to see and hear naturally or with correction.
- Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties.
- Comfortability towork above 5 feet in height.
- Climbing and maintaining balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
