U.S. Medical Staffing Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) are to provide therapeutic support to children in their home, school & other community settings. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) implements treatment plans and behavioral interventions to children and adolescents within a therapeutic environment that includes school, home, and/or community setting. A BHT will use the behavioral treatment plan to help the child improve their behavioral health through targeted strategies and behavioral techniques that address the child's specific needs and goals.

Experience/Requirements:

Completed 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification training curriculum prior to starting cases

Complete all CBH mandated and provider required trainings as well as provider required trainings

Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or similar human service field OR Bachelor's degree in any field with at least one year of experience in a job that involved direct contract with children/adolescents OR

associates degree, or 60 credits toward a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of full-time paid work experience in direct care work with children or adolescents OR

have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma will at least 2 years of experience providing ABA services and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCABA.
