About the company:

Metric is partnered with a multinational company specializing in the production and provision of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and specialty ingredients operating across 3 continents.

About the role:

Responsible for modification, configuration and implementation of automation systems including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Must be an excellent communicator and be able to lead projects as well as collaborate on resolving potential project problems.

Responsibilities:

Effective collaboration with automation manager and global automation team on implementation of new technologies, automation systems, project progress, standards and potential issues.

Replicate and configure PLC and SCADA systems. Willingness to provide after hour plant support.

Qualifications:
BS Engineering discipline, Mechatronics, Chemistry, Computer Science or related field. 2 years experience with control systems as well as programming control systems. Prior pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience preferred.
