- Planning, coordinating, and directing of all nursing staff on the assigned units and shifts
- Ongoing general evaluation of staff performance and activities, in order to achieve optional resident/patient care
- Interacting with all levels of nursing personnel, other department personnel and medical providers to assure quality care is provided to each resident/patient
- Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit
- Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures
- Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice
- Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in CT State
- Long Term Care and Charge Nurse Experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills
