Job summary
The Activity Assistant will be compassionate and dedicated to our elder population.They will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing recreational and therapeutic activities that enhance the lives of our residents.
This role is essential in promoting a positive environment, encouraging social interaction,
and improving the overall quality of life for our elderly residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities tailored to the interests and abilities of the residents.
- Foster group activities such as arts and crafts games music therapy exercise programs special events Work closely with residents to ensure their preferences needs are considered Collaborate with nursing care staff to align resident health wellness plans Maintain accurate records of resident participation feedback on activities Prepare necessary materials supplies for scheduled activities Assist transportation mobility needs during activity sessions Ensure safe clean comfortable environment Ensure active participation in staff meetings contribute ideas new programs initiatives Foster strong relationships promote sense community within facility.
