    Your Role:


    Your purpose is to catalyze audience growth for Ten Percent Happier through urgently driving strategic partnerships that make potential subscribers aware of our brand and product offering, and convert them to subscribers.


    What you will do:

    Strategy Development:
    Spearhead the strategic vision and roadmap for partnerships, developing cross-channel plans that leverage insights to craft compelling narratives.

    Lead in articulating, establishing, and driving a unified vision and narrative for partnerships, aligning internal cross-functional stakeholders

    Develop cross-channel plans to engage new audiences that resonate with the brand story

    Leverage customer insights, competitive analysis, analytics, and creative thinking to create compelling partnership strategies


    Subscriber Growth:
    Ensure that our partnerships strategy drives efficient subscriber growth.

    This includes activities that introduce us to new audiences, as well as touchpoints introducing compelling messaging about products, features, and opportunities to engage with the product.

    Proven experience successfully growing subscription or direct-to-consumer customers within specific CPA / CAC thresholds

    Continuously identify opportunities to reach and engage new segments through partnership activations.

    Set CPA targets per partnership and iterate quickly to drive efficiency and ROI positive partnership investment and focus


    Measurement & Forecasting:
    Measure results across media properties, consumer touch-points, and emerging platforms.

    Activate partnerships in ways that allow us to measure and demonstrate success via attributable new registrations and subscriptions, or specific results across media properties and consumer touchpoints


    Serve as a leader in setting acquisition goals via partnerships, measuring results, and quickly iterating to increase our learnings and scale subscription growth.

    Demonstrate how you intend to use partnerships as a catalyst for acquiring new subscribers, and propose a forecast and budget, working with Director Marketing and Finance to right size our investment and hold our team accountable to results


    Partnership Lifecycle Management:


    Oversee the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities and cultivating relationships, to negotiating agreements and executing activations across CRM, in- app, social media, live events and more, while fostering strong internal and external collaboration.

    Drive the full lifecycle of conceiving, developing relationships, negotiating, and executing partnerships that elevate brand awareness and drive audience growth


    Oversee and execute a diverse range of partnerships to identify the approach and channels that work; from owned media, to digital campaigns to live events.

    Manage relationships with an array of partners, including agencies, consumer brands, and talent/influencers

    Foster strong internal and external relationships as a skilled relationship-builder

    Conceptualize creative partnership ideas and secure buy-in from stakeholders to bring concepts to life

    Brand Comms Support via Partnerships:
    Develop and execute innovative partnerships that bring brand storytelling and content strategies to life and drive audience growth.

    Create and execute partnership content strategies focused on audience development.

    Integrate talent and brand spokespeople into partnerships in innovative ways that drive new user engagement.

    Collaborate with partners to develop compelling brand narratives and storytelling through partnerships.


    Team Leadership & Operations:
    Lead partnership operations within the marketing team.

    Start as an independent contributor with support from marketing leadership, CRM and creative team, and over time build, lead, and inspire a high-performing partnerships team.

    Build relationships with key collaborators to identify partnership opportunities and engage team's towards a unified vision and execution.

    Proven experience leading cross functional collaborations to great success

    Oversee partnerships planning and budgeting processes

    Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, diverse team

    Demonstrate a genuine commitment to the professional growth and development of team members

    Geographic Proximity and/or willingness to travel:


    We are a remote first company, and are open to candidates from all over the US, but there will be expectations for in person work time on a regular basis.

    Most of our team is split between New York and (Boston) Massachusetts.

    We'll provide you with a competitive compensation package with equity. The comp band for this director level role is

    145k-210k

    and where you will place within the band depends on experience and skill level.


    You'll be eligible for our full benefits package including traditional benefits like health and dental insurance as well as non-traditional benefits benefits like a stipend for growth and development.

    We'll support your work from home set-up with a $1,000 stipend.
