Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the department and surrounding areas, including sinks, floors, trash, dishes, pots, pans, walls, and all equipment such as refrigerators and freezers.
• Follow individual tasks to ensure they are completed correctly and on time.
• Help with assembling items for pantry service, serving hot and/or cold foods during meal times, and handling tray carts.
• Wash dishes and flatware from dining rooms and residents' rooms following proper infection control protocols.
• Clean and sanitize pots and pans properly while adhering to infection control procedures.
• Follow guidelines for storing clean dishes, utensils, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish-room, utility room, and pot/pan room, ensuring they are orderly and free from standing water.
• Assist in preparing salads, desserts, and performing simple food prep tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Deliver nourishments, snacks, and bulk meal items to designated areas.
• Keep pantries and storerooms well-stocked and organized.
• Adhere to all regulatory sanitation standards and follow safety rules.
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Preferred one (1) year of experience in food service-related utility work.
