    Job Description

    Proactively and holistically leading and supporting IS&T enterprise activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions. Solutions include projects, products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information), and shared application services. Having a deep understanding of business goals, objectives and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams, and business processes to produce a relevant solution. Collaborating with IS&T enterprise architects, engineering teams, project managers, and business analysts to produce project charters and detailed project plans. Quickly learning new technologies and applications that support service delivery across the IS&T continuum.

    Experience

    • Minimum of five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including virtualization, networking, application development, middleware, database management, cyber-security, cloud operations
    • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms and processing environments including VMWare, SAN, firewalls, proxies, network routing and switching, load balancers, Windows Server, and Linux teams
    Preferred Qualifications

    One or more of the following certifications:
    • AWS Certified Solution Architect
    • Microsoft Azure Certified Solution Architect
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate
    • VMWare Certified Professional
    Education
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
    Certification Summary
    • No professional certifications required
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Knowledge of software-defined networking technologies like Cisco ACI and best practices
    • Knowledge of Structured and Unstructured data and common backing technologies: SQL, MySQL, data warehouses, data lakes, network shares, etc.
    • Knowledge of various frontend web development languages like JavaScript, HTML, XML, and CSS.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Javascript, PHP, Python, Bash, Powershell, Ruby, Groovy
    • Proficiency with Classless Inter-Domain Routing and IP address management
    • Knowledge of common EMR systems or best-of-breed applications
    • Excellent understanding of system development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture
    • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and technical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and Office 365
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional
    Job Responsibilities

    • Leads Solutions Design and Analysis.
    • Orchestrates Solutions Delivery.
    • Facilitates and Collaborates to Deliver Business Outcomes.
    • Adheres to CHOA IS&T standards.
    • Collaborate with other IT Department members to create new standards and best practices in the areas of development, testing, documentation, and deployment of system and application solutions.
    • Working with IS&T operational and engineering teams, deliver effective and repeatable deployment documentation.
    • Understand and actively support organizational goals and objectives.
