    Primary Responsibilities

    In the role of Water/Wastewater Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
    • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium multi-discipline projects or large, single-discipline water and wastewater projects
    • Guide and direct junior staff in planning and design of project specific elements.
    • Use previous work experience in treatment, collections, or pumping of water/wastewater to guide direction of projects
    • Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development
    • Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
    • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for project compliance and permitting
    • Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff
    • Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
    • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
    • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
    • Perform other duties as needed

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • 7 years experience in water and wastewater industry
    • A minimum 2 years project management experience
    • Planning and design experience in any one or more categories: water treatment, wastewater treatment, pump stations and pipelines, conveyance, distribution.
    • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
    Preferred Qualifications
    • PE License
    • PMP certification

The expected compensation range for this position is $111,881 - $167,095 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.
