    Starting Salary Range: $71, ,500
    • Therapist BBS $71,500
    • Therapist BBS plus Bilingual $ 75,500
    • Therapist BBS, Bilingual, plus Licensed $ 80,500

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.
    The essential functions include:
    • Conduct comprehensive intake and ongoing assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations and completion of required evidence-based assessment tools to support medical necessity and DTI authorization requirements.
    • Facilitate multiple structured, evidence-based clinical group therapy sessions per day in alignment with the DTI program schedule, utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, and other approved therapeutic approaches.
    • Provide individual therapy and family collateral services as clinically indicated to support treatment goals, symptom stabilization, and community reintegration.
    • Provide targeted case management services, including coordination and linkage to psychiatry, medication support services, medical care, educational resources, and other community-based supports as outlined in the treatment plan.
    • Collaborate closely with psychiatry to support medication education, monitoring, and coordination of care, ensuring continuity across providers.
    • Participate actively in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing clinical insight to treatment planning, progress reviews, and re-authorization processes.
    • Provide crisis diversion, risk assessment support, and therapeutic de-escalation in accordance with established DTI crisis protocols; collaborate with bachelor's-level staff to support client safety and stabilization within the therapeutic programming.
    • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record, meeting DMH, Medi-Cal, and insurance standards, including progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and collateral documentation.
    • Collaborate with internal DTI team members, as well as external community and clinical partners, to ensure coordinated, consistent, and strengths-based interventions across levels of care.
    • Support families and caregivers in identifying needs, building skills, and increasing confidence in their role as part of the client's ongoing recovery and community integration.
    • Maintain flexibility to provide clinical coverage or support across program components as needed to ensure continuity of services and staffing ratios.
    • Participate in required trainings, quality assurance activities, and program improvement efforts in accordance with DTI contract requirements.
    • Flexibility to cover groups at other DTI program sites depending on census availability.
    • Available after hours for crisis support.
    • Provide therapeutic services to outpatient clients within Family Resource Centers as needed when DTI census is low.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the effective operation of the DTI program.
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
    • Master's degree in social work or marriage/family therapy
    • License, waiver, and/or registration with California Board of Behavioral Sciences, in good standing
    • At least two years' experience in working with children and adolescents, families, family structure, or family therapy either in a partial hospital, residential, group, or individual setting preferred.
    • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
    • Valid California driver's license, clean driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
