    Description

    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is searching for a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Engineer/Associate Engineer to join their team in Clearfield, Utah.

    This role is for weekday swing shift or weekend day shift with off hours support for NDI Operations running 24/7. Travel might be required to other sites like Iuka, MS, and Dayton, OH.

    This position allows a 9/80 schedule, giving you every other Friday off to pursue personal interests.

    Responsibilities for this role include:

    • Development of advanced NDT inspection technologies and sensors
    • Design, fabrication, installation, and testing of automated inspection systems
    • Integration of advanced NDT inspection technologies into automated systems
    • Support of production programs throughout their life cycle

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement non-destructive inspection techniques
    • Perform inspections of composite structures
    • Write reports and procedures
    • Qualify NDT techniques and systems
    • Provide cost estimates
    • Support instrument calibrations and audits

    The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications including NDT certification and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

    The salary ranges from $55,100 to $99,800 depending on qualifications and experience.
