- Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Production/Operations Management or the like (preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including word, excel, outlook), ERP and Great Plains.
- 1 -3 years in planning/forecasting, purchasing/sourcing in a strategic setting in a mid-large organization.
- Ability to sit and enter/analyze data for extended periods of time.
- Ability to twist, bend, kneel, reach, walk and squat throughout the workday.
- International and domestic travel required.
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimum supervision.

Job DescriptionSteelite International is seeking a Demand Planning Coordinator to become an integral part of our team
This is not a remote position.
What will I do as a Demand Planning Coordinator?
o Obtain and process inputs from Sales Services Team / Rep Groups, including SKU, QTY, Customer, timeline
o Vet data (realistic probability of a win, timeline, alternate SKUs, etc.)
o Monitor closure of items on the Active list
o Prepare clean data for load to Forecast in the necessary format
o Review monthly reports from Rep Groups with Sales Service / Sales teams
o Schedule and organize calls with sales staff to get information for opportunities
o Liaise with purchasing team on project information as needed
o Ensure all dummies are at 100% Confidence Interval
o Submit approval for all dummy entries and ensure systematic cancellation at day-61;
o Proactively communicate to the appropriate salesperson when Dummy is going to lapse (60-day max)
o Ensure dummy order that have been replaced by a live order and subsequently removed from the Active PIP register
o Confirm / create document with sales support and implement with Purchasing
o Manage and keep current the master stocking agreement file
o Advise business when quantities are not being met or are being exceeded, and when the agreement is going to lapse (60-day, 30-day, lapsed including root-cause-corrective-action (RCCA)
