At a Glance:

Our client is looking for a dedicated financial analyst to join their Division Operations team, providing critical financial insights and evaluations. This position focuses on land development budgeting, annual planning, quarterly forecasting, historical cost and budget analysis, and expense performance assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Evaluation: Analyze financial data to identify key business drivers and competitive factors, helping to enhance business outcomes.
Budget Reconciliation: Work with the Land and Finance teams to reconcile balances and development budgets.
Month-End Close: Contribute to the month-end closing processes.
Performance Analysis: Monitor overhead performance and establish benchmarks for tracking operational efficiency.
Planning and Forecasting: Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts and the annual budget plan.
Budget Compilation and Review: Consolidate budget inputs from different departments and perform thorough budget reviews.
Management Reporting: Prepare and present various reports and analyses to management, including variance reports and key operational metrics.
Feasibility Analysis: Create and maintain models to support the Land and Finance teams in assessing project feasibility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years experience, preferable within public accounting
High level communication and collaborative

Nice to have:

CPA license, desirable (on track or obtained)
Experience with construction, home building or real estate clients
