    Position Overview:
    Peterson's is looking for a full-time Marketing Content Specialst to join our team and boost our content strategy.

    As our Marketing Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating appealing and persuasive content across multiple channels that drives organic traffic, member engagement, and conversion.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Content Strategy and Creation:
    Contribute to the development of content marketing strategies and editorial calendars by writing compelling copy for a variety of marketing materials, including website pages, landing pages, video scripts, blog posts, social media posts, and other promotional materials as needed
    Increase online traffic by contributing to the improvement of our organic visibility through keyword research and optimized content
    Assist in developing and strategizing new video content to boost engagement and traffic
    Work closely with organizational stakeholders to drive content messaging and storytelling for the organization's products, objectives, and outreach
    Tailor relative content to different audience segments, ensuring that the message speaks to the targeted demographic
    Stay up to date with marketing trends and best practices to implement current content creation

    Additional Responsibilities
    Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
    Work with video production team to create video and multimedia content and collaborate with internal teams by incorporating feedback and revisions in order to refine content
    Edit and proofread content before publishing
    Create posts and assist in managing social media accounts
    Ensure all-around consistency in branding (style, fonts, images and tone)
    Return social messages/inquiries, if applicable
    Assist in monitoring and maintaining content across all platforms keep content current

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
    1-3 years of proven work experience within marketing or content writing
    You must have the ability to craft compelling marketing content that drives engagement and conversion
    Experience managing social media content creation and posting
    Strong copywriting and editing skills
    Knowledge of digital marketing channels and best practices, including social media, video marketing, basic SEO, and content distribution
    Familiarity with multimedia content creation tools
    The ability to maintain brand consistency in written and visual content
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
    Identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics based on consumer and social trends
    Experience working with Content Management Systems (WordPress)

    Not required, but nice to have:
    portfolio of published articles, video content, social posts, or newsletters
