    A Snapshot of your Day:

    As the Head of Service Design and Analysis US team, you will lead and inspire a dedicated group of 9+ engineers with a broad technical background based in the US.

    This leadership role focuses on driving team performance, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

    Together with your team you will be the bridge between Service Engineering and New Part Development, supporting our Service business with analysis and design work.

    This involves root cause analysis, determination of useful part life after repair, site specific component life and the development of design modifications.

    You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Management, Technical Excellence, Service Engineering, Product Integration, manufacturing, procurement, and program management on engine level to deliver high-impact turbine solutions.

    You will be pivotal in developing your team's capabilities, promoting continuous improvement, and globally aligning operational goals with Siemens Energy's commitment to sustainable and reliable energy solutions.

    Provide professional leadership to your team of 9+ engineers for blades and vanes development, fostering an environment of drive, innovation, and high performanceCulture and collaboration: Create an inclusive and collaborative environment where all team members can contribute to their full potentialGrowth and development: Enable organizational growth and individual development through multi-skilling, training, task assignments, and proactive creation of opportunitiesOperational excellence: Ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency in "Service Design and Analysis"Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with service and new part organizations to meet project and operational goalsContinuous improvement: Drive initiatives to optimize processes, tools, and methodologies within the team What You BringBachelors in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree.

    Master's degree preferred.10+ years work experience in thermal engineering. Preferably with experience in gas turbine Service engineering and blades & vanes design.

    Proven leadership experienceDeeply familiar with processes and needs of Service organizationsUnderstanding of design activities for gas turbine / turbine project like aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical integrity, mechanical design, manufacturing and service.

    Strategic thinking focused on execution, excellence and team performanceStrong communication, inter-cultural awareness, and presentation skillsA proactive mindset with analytical and organizational skills and the ability to communicate expertise for networking and change management.
