    Description

    Locum Anesthesiologist needed near Stevensburg, VA. Licensed preferred.

    • Schedule: 10 or 11 Hour shifts
    • All cases include OB, epidurals, spinals, and general anesthesia for emergency c-sections, Ortho, Spine surgery - cervical, thoracic, and lumbar cases, healthy pediatrics
    • No cardiac, transplants, high-risk pediatrics or heads
    • Supervision ratios: 3:1, 2:1
    • OT not expected but may occur
    • No Call
    • 5 anesthesia rooms on site, typically running three anesthetizing locations daily
    • During emergency cases, the call doctor initiates the case with unsupervised CRNAs until a case is assigned
    • Specific Practice Model for each location
    • 4 full-time physicians for coverage
    • Paper Charting
    • Credentialing process takes 2-3 Months
    • $500 referral bonus for any referral working 30 days
    • Competitive Hourly pay + housing + car rental & gas + mileage (using own car) + parking + tolls + baggage fees + A rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included
